The Arts: Drama

Performing Arts is a specialist subject at St Mary’s School. A wide range of skills and experiences are offered across the spectrum of performing arts, including Music, Dance and Drama.

Students are given the opportunity to:

• Create, make and perform
• Critique peer and professional performances
• Experience a wide range of genres
• Learn about the history of performing arts
• Improve teamwork
• Develop audience skills
• Improve performance skills

The Performing Arts program has a strong emphasis on performance and the students have a variety of opportunities to showcase their talents throughout the year such as, school assemblies, choir and the end of year school concert.
